Pop art paintings from Reinhard H.W. Brand (RHWB)

As a contemporary witness, Brand got heavily influenced by POP ART, Joseph Beuys, and the beginnings of computer art to the digital photographic art of Thomas Ruff or Andreas Gursky. One of his artistic concerns to this day is the realisation of sculptural designs – as in Arp, Moore, Cragg, Serra and the tubular sculptures and steles by Friedrich Gräsel – in abstract figurative and concrete, constructive painting, seemingly in a relaxed, superficially concerned manner.
Brand’s colourism does not cause any sadness; the pictures are focused on looking cheerful. The dominant, bright colours of the images are reminiscent of the Pop Art, but also of the Expressionists and Fauvists.
While Andy Warhol created following screen prints in his factory of advertising graphics and his own Polaroid photos, Reinhard H.W. Brand use multi-stage mixing techniques images on image carriers such as paper, cardboard, canvas and glass. Then he digitises and computerises finalised as a digital template for a strictly limited edition of fine art giclee prints on canvas or artist’s paper.

Colourful paintings from Maria Burgaz

When you are in front of one of María’s paintings, the first thing that calls your attention is the explosion of colours which make you get inside her world. Further on you will discover many other things that will make you smile. When you enter little by little into her world, you discover a narration full of symbols that are all over the canvas, and which show a story that with irony and humour will make you stare at her work. You will always find a real sight of the world, a world of excess which turns the surplus to harmony, the delightful balance of chaos. Besides all the sensations and information that you find in her work, she concentrates on matching techniques, materials and images with words, message making her work a continuous search without stopping in the things that she already knows, but searching and discovering new ways to express so much that she has inside, and that she can´t stop communicating.

Magic Circus - Greeting Cards and Open Edition Prints

Ellie explains that the reference to a circus is not meant as literal but rather as a metaphor for a mental space we kind can enter into, leaving our daily concerns behind us and experience another dimension. A different reality, where the horse represents our connection to our own vital energy, passion and spirit.

The acrobats, only faintly visible in the paintings, do not exert any form of control over their steeds but rather move over the horses as if riding the waves of the sea, with lightness, harmony and joy.

In the creation of this collection of paintings, the artist was inspired by the circus paintings of Toulouse Lautrec and chose to include pieces of collage from vintage French newspapers dating back to the early 1900s.

A feeling of movement and energy is evoked by the gestural, loose style of drawing visible in these highly original, mixed media pieces.

WonderlandTownscape

Ellie’s Wonderland Townscapes are in high demand. Last year, all of her originals where sold for a price between £1495 to £2950 and her prices are set to rise. The original of HORSE FAIR was sold for £2250.

Despite her original work being in high demand,  Ellie prefers not to rush the painting of her originals, instead dedicating plenty of time in the creation process of each individual painting. For this reason, Ellie has decided to now offer a collection of Limited Edition prints to her current collectors as well as to new clients, people who love her work and would enjoy see it in their own home. In this way, Ellie is able to make her work available to a wider audience at a more affordable price.

Stéphane’s artistic career has led him to exhibit very young since 1996 in different places with his Polaroids and his paintings on wood.

He did personal and group exhibitions in several Cultural Centers in Brussels, at the birth of Galerie Damasquine from 1996 to 2001 and in Belgium after in different artistic places in Belgium and today in different art galleries in the world.

And also several publications presented his artistic work in the English, Belgian, French and American magazines.

His classic studies in several academies of arts and in several artistic disciplines trained him in a multidisciplinary vision.

Through his images of the Rabid Animals series, he explored the relationship between human beings and bestiality.

Limited Edition Photographs

Murray Laidlaw: “For many years I worked as a part time freelance photographer shooting images for newspapers and magazines. My main occupation was as a television sound technician working in studios, on outside broadcasts and in studios. I trained at the BBC and moved to an ITV company after seven years. A sideways move saw me produce and direct television commercials and corporate videos which I did for nine years. Since 2009 I have worked as a photographer shooting a wide variety of subjects from prime ministers to kitchens and watches. My personal images tend to be things of beauty in whatever form that may take.”

Limited Edition Photographs

Herman van Bon: Keep investing in your childlike imagination is one of Herman’s many quotes. He once traveled around the world as a  technical photojournalist, nowadays he has been enjoying the beautiful, untouched nature in South Africa for almost 18 years now.

Herman finds inspiration in the same nature. The perfect photo in the early morning is just the beginning of his creative journey: ” I like to explore the possibilities and limits of digital art, I just let it flow to see where it can go, sometimes the end result appears quickly, sometimes the creative process takes months and other times  the creation dies in its own beauty”.

WearableArt

About Anke Espey: The age-old condundrum; ‘which came first, the chicken or the egg,‘ can without doubt be applied to Anke Espey. Is she a photographer and an artist because of her perception of the world around her, or is this because images and their structures have fascinated her since her early childhod?

Anke was born and raised in the Ruhr area, the industrial heartland of Germany; her father a graphic designer and painter, her mother a sharp-witted businesswoman. Together they immersed Anke in a contrasting world of imagination and hard business facts: creativity tempered by realism, you might say; a healthy mix, an artist’s proclivity to dream, but with both feet firmly on the ground.

The last 20 years have seen many exhibitions of Anke’s photographic achievements: in Bayreuth, Aachen, Hattingen and of course in her home-town of Essen; with subjects as diverse as tattoos, flowers, the Cuban city of Havanna, underwater studies and abstract reality.

Following a small number of private showings finally, in the summer of 2017, came the first exhibition of her paintings. The venue was  unconventional, a private living room made available to the public over a number of days and chosen for her works because  it was considered to be closest to their ultimate destination, the place where many works of art find their first home, within private walls. The exhibition, Anke’s first, was a complete success.

Fineart Photography

Reinhard was born in Germany and has 3 children. All children like to pose for photos. He has worked in several countries and travelled the world. For the last five years he has been living in Cambridge with his family and dog Lucy.

He is a passionate photographer and started photography in the early 80s with an analogue Nikon Camera. Most of his pictures were Black and White and he developed them in his own lab. In 2008 he started using digital cameras specialising in landscape, event and portrait photography.

Participating at highly specialised workshops have allowed Reinhard to boost his skills and get cross cultural photo experience. In the workshops he improved his portrait, beauty and fashion skills but also landscape. In addition he likes photographing dogs in several situations to show that they like it, too.
